Falling apart

When I fall apart, and you fall together, who would have thought that forever would never survive?

I’m trapped in the ice,
And wouldn’t it be nice
If someone tried to rescue me?
Instead of watching and waiting
On the bank of the obscene.

And when asked “why didn’t you save her?”, reply with a baffled look, “well I told her all she had to do was ask, that I would always be here.”
