Dear Salvation Army volunteer,
When you see a kid cover their ears as they pass because the bells are literally painful for them, don’t aggressively ring harder and reach your arm out in their direction. It’s spiteful, feckin’ rude, and a plain out dick move. Kids (and adults) with sensory issues, be it SPD or Autism, have a huge struggle each year having to deal with those damn bells as it is. They don’t need you going out of your way to be an inconsiderate asshole about it as well.
